Tortilla soup: Instructions
Preferred method – Oven
1. Preheat oven to 350°F
2. Combine Tortilla Soup Fiesta package with 8 cups of water, stir cover and bake
Note: I prefer my beans well done. Once I reach my baking time 2.5-3 hours I turn off the oven and allow the Tortilla Soup Fiesta to cool off in the oven.
Tip: Add 1 frozen chicken breast and halfway through cooking remove the breast and dice and return to the pot for additional cooking time.
Benefits, adding side dish of corn, avocado, dice sweet peppers, shredded cheese and a spoonful of sour cream sprinkle with tortilla chips.
Tortilla Soup Fiesta Instant Pot Cooking Directions
- Combine Tortilla Soup Fiesta package with 5.5 cups of water instant pot.
- Cook for 60 minutes on high
- Allow to naturally depressurize.
- Open pot and stir.
